# **Shipping Policy – Tamo Imp. & Exp. Co., Ltd**  

As a professional **footwear and apparel trading company**, Tamo Imp. & Exp. Co., Ltd follows standard international trade practices with **FOB (Free On Board) and CIF (Cost, Insurance & Freight)** as our primary trade terms.  

## **1. Trade Terms**  
- **FOB (Free On Board):**  
  - Buyer arranges and pays for **main carriage freight & insurance**.  
  - Our responsibility ends once goods are loaded at the **named port of shipment**.  
  - Risk transfers to the buyer upon loading.  

- **CIF (Cost, Insurance & Freight):**  
  - We arrange and pay for **sea/air freight & basic marine insurance** to the **named port of destination**.  
  - Risk transfers to the buyer upon shipment departure.  

## **2. Shipping Process**  
- **Lead Time:** 45-60 days after order confirmation (varies by quantity).  
- **Shipping Methods:** Mainly **sea freight (LCL/FCL)** and **air freight** (for urgent orders).  
- **Documents Provided:**  
  - Commercial Invoice  
  - Packing List  
  - Bill of Lading (B/L) or Air Waybill (AWB)  
  - Certificate of Origin (if required)  
  - Insurance Policy (for CIF shipments)  

## **3. Customs & Import Duties**  
- Buyer is responsible for **customs clearance, duties, and taxes** in the destination country.  
- We provide **accurate HS codes & export documents** for smooth clearance.  

## **4. Shipping Insurance**  
- **FOB:** Buyer may arrange insurance.  
- **CIF:** Covered under our basic marine insurance (All Risks at 110% invoice value).  

## **5. Tracking & Delivery Updates**  
- We provide **B/L or AWB details** for tracking.  
- Buyer or their agent handles **final delivery** from the destination port.  

## **6. Claims & Disputes**  
- Must be reported within **7 days** after cargo arrival.  
- Claims require **survey report from authorized agency**.
