What is Tamo's Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?
Our standard MOQ varies depending on the shoe style, complexity, and materials. We strive to be flexible and offer competitive MOQs suitable for both emerging brands and established retailers. Contact our sales team for specific MOQ details related to your project.
Can Tamo produce custom-designed footwear?
Absolutely. We excel in OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) and ODM (Original Design Manufacturing) services. We can manufacture your existing designs precisely or collaborate with you to develop new, unique footwear concepts from scratch.
What is the typical production lead time?
Production lead times vary based on order quantity, design complexity, material availability, and the time of year. Generally, lead times range from 45 to 90 days after final approval of samples, materials, and payment terms. We provide a confirmed timeline for each project upon order confirmation.
How do I request a sample?
Sample requests are welcomed. Please contact our sales team with your specifications (designs, tech packs, or reference samples). Sample fees and shipping costs apply but are often negotiable or deductible against future bulk orders.
What file formats do you require for production?
We prefer comprehensive Tech Packs including detailed drawings (CAD/PDF), material specs (colors, leather, textile, components), bill of materials (BOM), size specs, and packaging instructions. We can also work from physical samples or provide design support.
Payment Information
What payment methods does Tamo accept?
We primarily accept the following secure payment methods for international transactions:
T/T (Telegraphic Transfer/Bank Wire): Most common for bulk orders.
Irrevocable Letter of Credit (L/C) at Sight: Accepted based on established relationships and order size.
Specific payment terms are agreed upon in the Sales Contract/Proforma Invoice (PI).
What are your standard payment terms?
Standard payment terms for new customers are typically:
30% deposit payable upon signing the Sales Contract/accepting the PI.
70% balance payable by T/T against copy of Bill of Lading (B/L) or before shipment.
More flexible terms (e.g., L/C) may be available for larger orders or established customers after evaluation.
What currency are transactions conducted in?
Transactions are primarily conducted in US Dollars (USD). Other currencies may be negotiable.
Are the prices quoted FOB or CIF?
Our standard quotations are typically FOB (Free On Board) Xiamen, China or another designated Chinese port. This means the price covers all costs until the goods are loaded onto the vessel. We can also provide CIF (Cost, Insurance, Freight) or other Incoterms quotations upon request.
When will I receive the invoice?
A Proforma Invoice (PI) detailing costs, payment terms, and shipment information will be provided for your approval before any payment is required. The final Commercial Invoice will be issued along with shipping documents.
